The key for us is a collaborative approach based on mutual trust – we believe the best stories are told when people are inspired and enabled to tell them in their own words.

Our film-makers are hugely talented and experienced and have the sensitivity and expertise to bring out the best in everyone we work with. We know that making stories accessible doesn’t mean compromising the characters involved, we know that treating people with respect and dignity is the best way to get to the heart of an issue and let the real voices shine through.

Talent and Development

We’re extremely keen to help grow talent, nurture creativity and enable people with good ideas to make the films that inspire them. We work hard to develop the talents of everyone who works here, from trainee researchers to first-time directors and believe that support is the way forward.

We believe in a potent, lively and creative mix of highly experienced award-winning directors, producers and execs and bright, fresh talent with vision and a passion for film-making.

We are continually developing a range of ideas and formats and welcome ideas from new and established talent. We are looking for powerful stories that will make original documentary, as well as programme formats that seek to build on Lambent’s track record of first-class programme making.
