EMMA WAKEFIELD – Company Director and Executive Producer. Emma established Lambent in 1996. Producing award-winning films from DISABLED AND LOOKING FOR LOVE and TONY – I’VE LOST MY FAMILY to ground-breaking series like GAY-Z and LIFEPROOF Emma continues to build on Lambent’s creative foundations and grow the company.
ISABELLE PAVITT – Head of Production. Isabelle started Lambent with Emma. She is the business backbone of the company and spearheads Lambent’s ambition in new areas. She started as a freelance researcher/AP, later turning to production management and is now responsible for supervising projects from development to delivery, as well as Lambent’s financial, business and legal affairs.
AUDREY ENGLISH – Senior Production Manager. Audrey has overseen many of Lambent’s projects and steered the trickiest productions safely home. She joined Lambent in 2004 and her previous credits include 999 for BBC BRISTOL, THE REAL … and SECRET HISTORY for C4.
KATE BARKER – Production Manager. Kate started at Lambent in 2007 as a co-ordinator where her organisational skills ensured that productions ran smoothly. Now as PM, she works tirelessly on a variety of productions to make sure that the best possible programmes are made.
ANNA COWDRY – Archive Researcher and Production Co-ordinator. Anna has only been working in the industry for 2 years but her knowledge, efficiency and know-how has meant that she is crucial to the smooth running of any Lambent production and the office in general. She proved to be a great archive researcher on THE CAMERA THAT CHANGED THE WORLD for BBC4 and has assumed that role again on our current BBC4 productions.
ALICE BENNETT-LEYH – Distribution and PR Manager. Alice joined Lambent in 2010 from leading indie distributor Digital Rights Group where she was Marketing & Acquisitions Manager for their formats and events division Zeal Entertainment. She now heads up Lambent’s distribution and PR section.
JESSICA LEIGH – Executive Producer, Talent and Development. Jess works with Lambent's team of producers and directors to filter and develop documentary and formatted ideas, as well as nurturing on and off-screen careers. Jess started her career as a music television producer and writer, in New Zealand, and has since spent many years working as Head of Development across formats and features. She now specialises in documentary and is developing a range of new and established talent to work on the next generation of Lambent projects.
KATE MITCHELL – Commercial Consultant. Kate works with Lambent as our Commercial & Business Affairs Consultant. As well as advising on the overall business strategy of the company and providing Business Affairs support, Kate also works alongside the senior management team to fully exploit the intellectual property rights in the company’s creative output.

LISA FAIRBANK has worked on films for documentary strand CUTTING EDGE and has made award-winning series GAY-Z, and A-Z OF YOUR HEAD for C4 and recently films about maternal health for Marie Stopes International.
JULIE HEATHCOTE has worked in news and current affairs across the world, for SKY NEWS, as well as high profile factual entertainment like FAKING IT for C4. Julie has just made HARD LABOUR for AL-JAZEERA and is currently on the BBC’s SERIES PRODUCER PROGRAMME.
MAX FISHER has developed his documentary career at Lambent making his first 60-minute film for BBC3, TONY – I’VE LOST MY FAMILY. Max is directing KIDS BEHIND BARS for BBC3.
MARTIN SHARP is an award winning film maker and has directed and produced drama and documentary films for broadcasters such as BBC, CNN and ITV. His diverse projects have included: a 13 part international series from behind the scenes of a Formula 1 team, directing for the BBC drama medical series ‘Casualty’ and self-shooting short educational films for the Open University and Teachers’ TV.
